This option is useful when an employee forgets to enter it clock-in or clock-out time or system takes any wrong entry. If an employee has the permission to update attendance, then only he can update clock-in and clock-out time. Also if an employee has the permission to 'Manage all Employee', then he can update attendance of all the employees. But if he has the permission to 'Manage subordinate Employee', then he can only update the attendance of subordinate employees.

To update attendance, Go to 'Attendance' -> 'Update Attendance'.

Attached image shows attendance of an employee on date 8 Jul 16. To add new entry, enter clock-in & clock-out time and then click on 'Add New' button. If entered time is correct, system takes a new attendance entry. If there is something wrong like clock-out time is lesser than clock-in time, then system throws an errors. Clock-in time is mandatory, but Clock-out time can be left blank. In this case, only clock-in time will be stored in the system. To edit an entry, click on the 'edit' link and enter required fields. To delete an entry, click on the 'delete' button and selected entry will be deleted from the system.
