Document types are used when documents are uploaded for any employees. It is used to categorized documents based on their type. For ex. document types can be any kind of certificates like educational certificates, residential certificate etc., or it can be identity proof document or address proof document etc.
Attached image shows how to add document types to the system. This option is available under 'Configuration' -> 'Document type' tab. To 'add new document type', enter the document type name and click on 'save' button. Once saved, it will be displayed under 'list all document type' table. To edit a document type, click on 'edit' link and to delete document type, click on 'delete' button. Deleting any entry may result in loss of all related data.
Please note that document type name must be unique.
