The time duration for which an employee works in the company is termed as 'Office Shift'. Employer Zone supports multiple Office Shifts, hence company which have different shifts for their employees can easily opt Employer Zone for their HR solution. Employer Zone also supports Overnight shifts.


To add an Office Shift, Go to 'Configuration' -> 'Office Shift'

  • In-time cannot be lesser than out-time.
  • Shift name must be unique.

Employer Zone supports Shift Timing for all the days. It means an employee can have separate shift on Monday, Tuesday etc. If a day say Sunday is left blank, then system assumes that it as Holiday.



Attached image shows all the Office Shift lists. Shift name is First Shift & it has Sunday off. Numeric 1 in between green circle shows that this shift is set by-default, i.e. if employees are not assigned any shift, this shift will be used as their working shift.

To edit this shift, click on the 'Edit' icon & to delete this shift click on the 'Delete' button.

If Office Shift is not defined, then you many not access some of the features like 'Payroll', 'Leave' etc.
